About Me

Hi there! If you’re reading this, then you obviously want to get to know me a little better. So here it goes… I’m R-J (which is short for my real first name) and I’m just a girl trying to make it through life.

I’m going to university and I actually hope I’m going to end up at university for the rest of my life. I want to go into legal academia. I used to say I wanted to be a lawyer but my social awkwardness doesn’t help that cause and legal research is my forte. I’m also a qualified paralegal. I’ve been designing websites for the past 10 years - I call it a hobby but it has sometimes paid off in webdesign jobs.

My real passion is to write. I love writing screenplays and I’m working on my first novel series, called Kitsune. I’m a sometimes poet and love reading when I actually find the time (which is never these days - law textbooks, enough said).

I’m an Aussie and that comes with an insane love of the beach. I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. My family is very important to me and my dogs are my babies. I have the most awesome bestie in the entire world who I love and adore: my guttertwin.

My personality type is INTJ. I’m a virgo (September 22) with all virgo problems (in other words, massive perfectionist). Cooking is my life and solves all of my problems (and my weight suffers dearly for this passion). If you don’t like calling me R-J, you can try Nyx, Kali, Rick or ‘Hey you!’ - they all work :)
